Fastweigh has entered a new chapter of growth with the appointment of Caitlin Pomeroy as Chief Executive Officer.
Pomeroy joins Fastweigh with deep experience leading vertical software companies through scale, product expansion, and customer-focused growth. Most recently, she served as CEO of ManageAmerica, a software company serving the manufactured housing industry. Before that, she held product and strategy leadership roles at Real Green Systems, a software provider for the lawn care market.
For Fastweigh customers, the leadership transition is less about changing direction and more about continuing what has made the platform valuable from the beginning: practical software, strong implementation, responsive support, and a clear understanding of how bulk materials operations actually work.
“We are delighted to have Caitlin join and lead Fastweigh through this next stage of growth,” said Rasmussen. Mendiola added, “We are proud of the platform we have built, but this is just the beginning. With Caitlin’s experience leading growth companies, we know the next chapter will be an exciting one for Fastweigh and our customers.”
Fastweigh was founded in 1988 and has grown from a trusted ticketing solution into a cloud-based operations platform serving aggregate, asphalt, and other bulk material producers. Since the launch of its cloud platform in 2015, the company has expanded to support hundreds of customers across the United States, including large producers with complex plant, dispatch, billing, and reporting workflows.
Pomeroy will work alongside co-founders Steve Rasmussen and Mike Mendiola as Fastweigh continues to build for the next generation of material operations. That includes ongoing investment in scale ticketing, dispatch, kiosk automation, mobile workflows, billing, analytics, integrations, and the everyday tools teams use to keep trucks moving.
“Steve, Mike, and the team have done a tremendous job building a platform that customers love. I couldn’t be more excited to join Fastweigh and help the company grow while continuing to invest in what got us here – taking care of customers and building great products,” said Pomeroy.
Pomeroy holds a BS in Materials Science and Engineering from MIT and an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business.
