If things look a little different around here, you're not imagining it. Today we're rolling out a new look for Fastweigh: a new logo, new colors, and the new website you're reading this on.
Why we refreshed our brand
The short version of why is that the company outgrew the old brand. Fastweigh started in the scale house back in 1988, and for a long time we were known mostly as a ticketing solution. That changed when we launched our cloud platform in 2015, and it has continued to evolve every year since. Today, hundreds of operations across the country run on Fastweigh, from single-scale yards to large producers managing dispatch, loadout, billing, and reporting across many locations.

A new chapter
This past year added a few more chapters. Caitlin Pomeroy joined as our CEO in November, bringing experience growing software companies that serve specific industries the way we serve this one. She works alongside our co-founders, Steve Rasmussen and Mike Mendiola, and Head of Product Eric Wilhite. The leadership team has kept growing since, including Andrew Sabin joining as Head of Finance this month. Behind the scenes, our dev team has been building toward an all-new unified web portal and scale application launching soon. A refreshed brand felt like the right way to mark all of it.
What this means for our users
Nothing about your software has changed. Your tickets, dispatch, loadout, and billing all work exactly like they did last week. You'll start to see the new logo and colors show up in your apps over time. No updates to install, nothing to re-learn.
What also hasn't changed is how we think about this work: Your industry is our industry.
That has been true since the beginning, and it's the reason the new brand looks the way it does. We didn't want something that belonged to a generic software company. We wanted something that felt at home at a quarry, an asphalt plant, a transfer station, or a grain elevator, because that's where our software lives and where our team spends its time.
Enjoy the new Fastweigh experience
So take a look around the new site. Poke through the new pages, check out the blog, and let us know what you think. We're proud of the new look, and we're more proud of what it represents: a company that's grown a lot and still answers the phone the same way we always have.
Thanks for building with us.
The Fastweigh Team
