We’re a day late, but this pumpkin deserved a spot on the feed! 🎃 Our own Megan Mendiola gave hers the Fastweigh treatment this Halloween, and we had to share it.

It also got us thinking about the things that can make a perfectly reasonable person at a quarry or asphalt plant break into a cold sweat. They rarely involve ghosts.

The scale house was quiet. A little too quiet.

The back office worker had entered everything: the customer, the products, the pricing, the job details. The quote was approved. For one brief, beautiful moment, she thought the paperwork was finished.

Then the order screen opened.

Every field was blank.

From somewhere behind her came a whisper:

“Can you enter all of that again?”

Fortunately, this story has a happy ending. Fastweigh turns approved quotes into active orders without duplicate entry, so yesterday’s typing doesn’t have to come back and haunt you.
